Value Added Services

 We refocus the conversation on a longer time horizon while using a systematic and empirical process to design and implement a tailored investment plan.

 

Overview

  • We don’t take on very many new clients. In fact, we do so only if we can offer the client substantial value for the fee they are paying us.

  • Portfolio design is fashioned through the lens of a tax and estate planning perspective, and incorporates legal considerations as needed.

  • Focus is placed on properly locating assets within different accounts owned by the same client for tax, legal or estate planning purposes (i.e., “asset location” strategies).

  • We are fiercely proactive in our communications and interact on a regular and ongoing basis via telephone, email, video conferencing or in person.

  • Our objective is to partner with our clients in identifying and solving their concerns. We do not merely manage investment portfolios in isolation of other real-life factors.


Behavioral Finance

  • We believe that the most valuable service an adviser can provide a client is to maintain composure in difficult times.

  • Investors can often be their own worst enemies in times of market distress.

  • We concentrate on behavioral coaching and spend time getting to know our clients and understanding their needs.

  • Our overriding objective is to design a program which eliminates the perceived need to react to market events.

  • We want to help our clients overcome the emotional compulsion to make bad decisions at the worst times in the market cycle.


Strategic Portfolio Design

  • We believe the key to successful investing is not just to make money in rising markets but also to avoid losing big in down markets.

  • Therefore, we manage money to participate in gains but also to try and preserve capital.

  • Our goal is to positively impact the lives of our clients and to protect them from adversity and costly mistakes.

  • Few advisors are truly capable of helping preserve and grow wealth in a systematic and thoughtful manner. We have established a streamlined process by which we deliver advice to our clients.

  • We help clients define their goals, remind them of those goals on a regular basis and help minimize errors in judgment along the way.
